#LongCovid is not a ‘subject’ to dispute. It’s a health condition that changes people’s lives. Definitions can evolve & that’s not an excuse to dismiss the illness itself. Diagnostic criteria for diabetes have repeatedly changed over time but no one takes u seriously if you say diabetes in disputed!

Some of us listen. I watched his opening speech at the ALP conference, a word salad of all the problems facing Australians. I spent over 5 minutes saying these 2 things to the TV: "Yes, so what are you doing about it?" and "Great! Now what".

nobody should use twitter (you don’t have to use bluesky! just not twitter!) but very specifically journalists and entertainment reporters using it has been astoundingly corrosive for our civil dialogue, because we have completely lost any semblance of “saying this is unacceptable”

Agree, I could never even get the Samsung account to work as I lived all over the globe and it always had geo issues. I don't need to worry about that as I am never buying another Samsung. Just bought the NXTPAPER tablet and its fab too.

Was a sincere Samsung fan for over a decade. Latest 2 phones had the camera app stop - but camera would still work on FB, WA etc. The Samsung camera app didnt work but all other apps camera capability did. Almost like they wanted me to upgrade my phone. I did, and bought a Motorola for $600. Fab!

This is what I hate the most. They spend decades in opposition, and finally get into power. Instead of going hell for leather on the grand visions they've had eons to work on, they politic the politics out of everything, like they are still in opposition. What a gigantic waste of time and ALP talent

White man entitlement: assuming you can visit any country w/o documentation. The rest of us check. All airlines email several times about docs. Used to be able to do this online, at airport if you had time at checkin. New SM rules prb changed this. Poor bastard that has to troll thru DH SM feeds.
