@sarahowen.org.uk I don't think the government's approach of giving them a hard stare is having the desired effect. Please for the love all that is innocent in this world legislate to stop this disgusting behaviour from continuing. These companies should be fined and blocked until fixed.

NEW: Over the last few months, Meta has run dozens of paid ads that included AI-generated CSAM. The ads, some of which were linking out to “nudify” apps, targeted men in the US, UK, and a dozen European countries. Some were running in the last few days

Just watched a Sky News segment on the Clacton by-election and they spent 90% talking to people about why they were voting for Farage. They then finished the segment and displayed the names of all the candidates on screen in grey boxes but with Nigel Farage highlighted blue... Why?

Lisa Nandy has had two years to help fix the mess of the BBC board, or Ofcom's response to GB News. Now she's also in charge of tackling social media, and Elon Musk's outright aggression against UK democracy. For some reason.

Laura Kuenssberg, Andrew Neil, and the BBC apparatus which gave Cambridge Analytica a chance to undermine @carolecadwalla.bsky.social’s investigation before it was published, called law breaking ‘rule breaking’, demeaned her as a mad cat lady, and fluffed Farage, deserve all the ignominy of history

🚨BURNHAM ELECTED LEADER🚨 "And if we don't have sufficient public control over the cost of the essentials, how can we have control over inflation, public spending and the rest of the economy?" "The right use the phrase take back control, but they are the ones who gave it away in the first place."

Guardian: Nigel Farage told senior figures in Reform UK he would need “a million a year” to cover lost earnings if he stood for parliament in the 2024 general election, sources have told the Guardian, raising further questions about why he was given £5m by a crypto billionaire.

After Zia Yusuf accuses critics of endangering Reform politicians with violent language, he is read a list of quotes where he called Reform's opponents "lunatics who deserve extinction", "sick arsonists" and "traitors" who will face a "reckoning". He says these are in "a totally different category"

This is exactly why they need to do it, I think. As a lesson that you can't just fuck with the British state, which everyone currently assumes that they can. I simply do not believe that all investment dries up because a couple of execs are denied a paycheck. Financial people do not have solidarity.

If I remember correctly it is a fight they were scared off of because the shareholders and creditors threatened not to go ahead with other UK investments. Same as they were bullied by JP Morgan over their investments. Something Mandelson curiously advised JP Morgan to do to Gordon Brown in 2009.

UK must cap political donations to stop the rich buying influence. £100,000 cap won't end corruption. Only the rich can spare £100,000 to buy political parties, subvert public choices. Super rich can easily bypass limits by donations from multiple persons and companies. Must ban all donations.

If Keir Starmer won’t act then his successor should – by restricting the power of a small group of mega-donors

What if all of the stories coming out about Nigel Farage aren't designed to bring him down? What if they are a sort of collective bring out your dead exercise ahead of a by-election which they plan to use to "wipe the slate clean".

And there it is. The vile twat got excited when he heard it was a murder investigation. How long do you think it was between Nigel finding out and then calling his press officer and texting his disciples to start piling on this to vindicate his £5m bribe? Man's a cunt.

How low will Farage go. Police say this was an interrupted burglary by a 26 year old white British male. And the police probably thought they had to spell that out in the certain knowledge Farage would do what he’s just done…because it’s always about HIM.
