A little over a year ago I made a gift art for @squeakitties.bsky.social around the time that I started doing commissions, and her reposting my artwork almost single-handedly gave me the platform I have today. So as a thanks, I have made a remake-esq piece to show my 1 year progress

Being anti-AI isn't enough. You should be pro-art, pro-artist, pro-writer, pro-worker. Don't expend all your energy tearing people down. Spend it lifting people up instead. Make their voices so loud, their art so visible, it drowns out the slop.

we as artists should stop calling non sketches “sketches.” people who don’t create art (why aren’t you, u should) are going to think a sketch is a clean line art, perfectly colored piece. i’m not crazy, right? seeing fellow artists call something that isn’t a sketch…a sketch???
