As a long-time listener of the Mindscape podcast, my respect and admiration for physicist / natural philosopher @seanmcarroll.bsky.social has only grown after reading this story about three prominent scientists who said no to Epstein.

Much clearer optical satellite imagery today from @planet.com shows the landslide that resulted in the collapse of the Hongqi bridge in Sichuan.

The images are from Nov 9 and Nov 12, with the latter being very poor quality, but shows a distinct change on the W side of the bridge.
