Tim Curry had been doing poorly ever since he had a major stroke back in 2012. Amazingly, he still did the occasional VA work, voicing Auntie Whispers in 2014. Theres an ethereal frailness to her because of what he went through. He, like Dolly, was an amazing human being.

Inspektor Maska is a GREAT example of using limited animation to a stronger effect. It proved that you can just use much less frames to make it work. This is something indie animation people really should embrace.

This may be a hot take, but I am sorta glad Disney doesn’t give The Muppets the same treatment compared to Star Wars or the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I rather have The Muppets putting out quality rather than churning out an oversaturated amount of mediocre content.
