I was in the grocery store yesterday, buying South African lemons, because I refuse to buy American produce. I vividly remember the days when Canadians boycotted South African fruit and wine, to protest apartheid. Now, the world’s turned upside down.

for personal reasons i dislike how the discourse has swung from "climate scientists are hysterical alarmists" to "climate scientists failed to warn us how bad it would be" without stopping at "thank you, you were right, here's a gift basket"
There's a persuasive argument that based on conventional liberal principles (central planning, market distortions, coercion, interference in hiring, trade, manufacturing, mergers & acquisitions, etc.) this is the least market-friendly administration since FDR. Possibly ever.

He's a history major who got a law degree and worked as an environmental advocate but has never spent any meaningful time doing science, or understanding how science is done. This isn't "an alternative scientific view". It's just kooky opinions.
