This does suggest enforcement officers are hanging around waiting to catch people out Either hang onto your rubbish or make sure it is properly inside a bin

This is obviously correct but there is I think an issue that there is a difference between delayed /cancelled trains now where you mostly have information Vs the 80s where you mostly didn't. I particularly remember trying to get the Guildford to Reading trains in 1986ish which were never on time
