- whoops, only just realised it's about time fer beddy-byes, so I'll be off in a bit, a few last words for the mo, though - among many other things I'm trying to get back on top of (sculpting being not at all the least), I'm also doing a bit of a soft 'reboot'/second edition of the book, as I >

Ok, here we go. First wave of chaos stuff. Some wild chaotics, feral broo, Ralzakark, and his Humakt worshipping broo bodyguard. All the wild folk and Ralzakark are @fenrisgames.com and the bodyguard are @satyrart.bsky.social All bloody lovely.
"...'ere, boss, there's some bloke out here with a big wooden'orse..." don't fall for trickery, get yourself a sturdy ring fort
We designed the whole map of a Doomsong campaign with this in mind. Chris noticed that the Nottinghamshire map displayed in the castle showed towns in the form of landmarks-as-seen-approaching-by-foot, and mimicked it.
some parts of RubbleCity are still inhabited, either at the outskirts where there's relative safety or at strongholds held by bandits and adventurers keen to avoid "real" civilisation our expanding Mudtown range is still at pre-order prices for a couple more weeks!
thoroughly enjoying the new dappled sunlight setting in the office
finally put up a blind in the office that's been waiting two years + to get done sense of achievement vastly out of proportion to amount of effort eventually involved
- just discovered that the workalong-video of our build on this (and a bunch of other vids of mine) had 'lost' its tune, so quickly added the Hall of the Mountain King to this one - seemed apt, if perhaps a bit grandiose: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lK8P...

fb memories lying again, me and @snuurg.bsky.social made this last summer not seventeen years ago (A tale of a housing developer who took a pristine rainforest and bulldozed it to make way for a golf resort...) 1/1000 model, Marquis Estate, St Lucia.
- as you can see, they're a bit of a handful. A very *little* bit of a handful, but even so:
Some more angles. I love this heehog.
Thanks! they're a thank you gift for a friend who loves dinosaurs. Better shot of the bases. I've never really gone that hard with a base before but I love them!
...having a lazy kinda start, scrounged a coupla days off; though the lazy part is still involving tidying the house and such, taking care of stuff that's been needing to be done for months - tbf though am doing it all half-arsed at the mo, and then will be going out in a couple more hours anyway...
- it's a theme with squeal-appeal, to be sure :) Meanwhile, mouse-miniature by @fenrisgames.com, painted by @voiceofkosh.bsky.social:

brain decided that 3.30 a.m. was the time to be brightly wide awake; am now though quietly celebrating because weather other than melty heat has materialised: thunder, lightning, rain, and blessed, blessed coolness. Dunno how long for, tomorrow's threatening even more hotness, but right now, bliss.
...well I reckon that'll do for a bit, time to grab grub and such, also maybe fit in a last lil bit of - woo, sculpting - before the evening's up - I'm still not exactly back in the swing of it properly yet, proper-job workload notwithstanding, but am at least managing to do a /bit/ here and there >
I get this all the time at work - I walk in, 2 miles there, 2 back; other folks drive in, ask the same question. It was raining, not heavily, Tuesday this last week, I saw at least four grown adults clutching their t-shirts close because they'd have to cross two feet of pavement to get to their car.
Car brain is a thing but I've never seen a case so terminal
Kenneth is back in stock !
everyone's heard of a toadstool, but how often have you seen a stooltoad? Our lifesized/giant (depending on if you're a human or a 28mm miniature) toad, Kenneth, comes with alternate open and closed mouth pieces so you can have him schlorping or sitting smug under his agaric hat.
Honestly incredible stuff but this made me gasp: "For $100 million a year we can get clean oceans,” he said. This is less than the annual marketing budget of most major consumer goods companies that produce the plastic The Ocean Cleanup is pulling from the sea. techfixated.com/young-invent...
Young inventor who left engineering studies removes nearly 50 million kilograms of ocean plastic, aims to eliminate 90% of floating waste by 2040
'There was a time when the oceans were filled with plastic, and then we solved it':

The Middle Earth map is done. Official photos to follow another day. All hand burned onto the wood. This will be available in a Facebook auction to raise funds for @sewh.bsky.social in August. It will not be available outside of the auction so it’s a rare thing 😁 #lotr #maps #handmade #fantasy
More ex-Otherworld models now living at Fenris forever? Surely this is Satyr?
Our Formless Spawn model just wants to be loved. He's had roles in many a dungeon playing the part of a Gibbering Mouther or a Chaos Beast but is available for private meetings, birthday parties and corporate functions. *Loves* a game of Call of Cthulhu, obviously, along with all his Mythos buddies.
ring fort's back in stock!
the Fogou Ringfort (two versions!) is in the shop on pre-order now. I *should* have a handful ready for Salute but if you absolutely need to pick one up at the show the only way to guarantee one is a cheeky pre-order for collection on the day...
Good job Dragonmeet! I hope to see this enforced
Batrachian Bob and his buddies showed up the other day. Always great to have an @fenrisgames.com order drop through the door. My favourite is blob fish man…
Back onto trolls! 2nd one is almost halfway done. Here’s a Zorak Zorani Deathlord with his Trollkin minions. One of them thinks she’s a Deathlord too, look at her being all cute with the fire and raising the dead. The trollkin are converted from a bunch of space imps. All from @fenrisgames.com
freshly arrived from Bronze Age Miniatures in the US, as featured in the just-finished #RubbleCity adventurers KS, these hench telamon columns are getting moulded, distressed, and fitted to some RC wall sections asap
just added to the shop: breach sections for the Fogou ringfort. part of a whole raft of models we're adding to the RubbleCity section of the website over the next couple of weeks
These designs were a real treat to develop and @fenrisgames.com did an amazing job with these sculpts. It’s a wild experience seeing something you quickly sketched on paper get fully realized in a physical form.
another batch of Gods War models are in the shop now, including Magasta, Lord of all the Seas, Centre of the Homeward Ocean.
