just a tiny selection of the huge Bronze Age Miniatures range we're the UK/EU importers for. Northmen, shieldmaidens, trollhunters, dwarves, elves, barbarians and many more. Restock happening soon!
New doctor measures my weight and it’s a little high Me: “I’ve never been too concerned with my weight. It’s only a number” New doctor measures my height and records 6’4” instead of my normal 6’5” Me: “You sonovabitch, I’ll kill you!”
Why is street parking at a meter still such a harrowing experience? Why do we have to be so worried about going over the maximum time limit you can set? Can we not develop a meter that senses how long you are parked and just charges you for that exact amount of time, no matter how long?
every time it comes up in my mentions I have to reskeet this shot of my Lost Shores Oracle kit. nothing I can do about it, it's the law! (did i mention how it's on sale?)
couple more days on this as I've got new releases to put up over the weekend. fill your baskets!
guess what? i've just put a sale onin the Fenris shop. there's a honking great 20% off if you use the code SWEATY at checkout runs for a few days til i turn it off. EU/US shipping continues as normal!

talking of scenery Fenris is now the new owner of these fine @fogoumodels.bsky.social buildings. they're part of this month's new releases and will be available in the flesh* at Salute next month!
need an adobe settlement for your tabletop that'll suit historical, fantasy AND SF settings? current 20% off sale - ending Sunday - is the perfect time to stock up just use the discount code SWEATY when you get to the checkout...
LOADS of options to mix and match the newly remastered Mud Brick range acquired from @fogoumodels.bsky.social - stackable, swappable, and with additional frontages and addons. adding these to the shop this week, and hopefully having a few in hand for Salute in (gulp) three weeks' time...
The whole videogame industry (and indeed a large portion of our economy in general) feels like an early ‘90s house flipping scheme. Investors putting in the bare minimum, shorting quality wherever they can, relying on miracles from the people doing the hard work, and demanding immediate profits
still like the Cursed Earth out there. talking of, thanks to coperation with Ainsty Models and everyone else involved, I've got VERY limited quantities of the Judge Minty LE models from 2012 in the shop. Proceeds from sales of these are going to the Canine Cancer Research charity.
And to round up the trilogy for today, Judge Minty - which we were tangentially involved with by way of helping with funding and the production of some limited edition judge and mutie minis and scenics.
"That story is being told in a documentary called Halcyon Daze: The Final Voyages of Disney’s Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, and while it’s already played a few film festivals and won a few awards, it’s about to kick off a series of summer screenings at the San Diego Comic-Con 2026." 👀
The Mythic 'Star Wars' Hotel Is at the Heart of Yet Another Documentary
It's kind of fascinating seeing the "are LLMs conscious?" thing periodically pop up, because for most of human history (and honestly even now), we treated *everything* as being conscious. Animals, mountains, weather, vague philosophical concepts...
We restock our Bronze Age minis range every month and tomorrow's the day the order goes out. Grab yourself a pre-order now to avoid import duties versus ordering direct from the US! Adventurers, heroes, mythic beasties and more!
June Newsletter is out! just in time for payday, which means there's a cheeky subscriber discount hidden in there, too... buttondown.com/fenrisgames/...
Too Many Ideas - Fenris Games June 2026
(please excuse any perspiration dripped on this email) - a Fenris Games (very) irregular newsletter - Hello! somehow, but typically, it’s been six months...

remoulded, and back in the shop, our Glaswegian phonebox there was one of these outside my workshop in Chatham Historic Dockyard so you can bet i took accurate measurements and made this a *proper* scale model. it might look smaller than some versions but it's very much bigger on the inside
And now all scored. As anticipated, making things that look like the Star Carr pendant is waaaaay harder than it looks. And I’m using a steel scalpel into relatively soft clay.
Singaporean artist Leia Ham reimagined LotR as Tale of the Middle Kingdom, since Chinese name for China (Zhōngguó) means "The Middle Kingdom." Her concept art includes the Fellowship, armors, buildings like Bag End, props like Aragorn's banner and Fellowship brooches, and more. #TolkienTrewsday
plans are, once again, afoot not that anyone here would be interested
I’d have to go with the Fab Four of the eldritch horror gang. Cthulhu on bongos, shub on bass, hastur on vocals and Nylarthotep on bending reality and all we perceive into unimaginable horror.
Bokrug, the great water-lizard God, is back in the webshop for pre-order. 75mm of voracious amphibious critter, he responds well to a tickle under the chin or most coarse bait but is out of season between march and july
I’ve managed to not only teach my young son that not everything in the world is made for his tastes, the world would be super boring if it was all tailored to him, even FOR him. We all need to be occasionally challenged by things we don’t like or we don’t grow
I am once again begging folks to understand the difference between ‘I don’t like this’ and ‘Nobody likes this’. You are not the main character of the world. Readers and authors have different tastes. You are not the arbiter of what authors should and should not put into books.
These designs were a real treat to develop and @fenrisgames.com did an amazing job with these sculpts. It’s a wild experience seeing something you quickly sketched on paper get fully realized in a physical form.
another batch of Gods War models are in the shop now, including Magasta, Lord of all the Seas, Centre of the Homeward Ocean.
One of my Toxic Traits is that I sometimes think I could hold my own on a show like Game Changers or Who’s Line is it Anyway. I’m a pretty spontaneously funny guy but the level of improv skill on display there is almost impossible to achieve
After a long hiatus, our group reconvened to play more Pulp Cthulhu today. The lesson learned: Flying Polyps are kind of pushovers, assuming you successfully sneak up on them and open up with a 3” trench mortar, fully auto Lewis LMG, a .450 elephant rifle, and a dozen .303 Lee-Enfields
I wonder if people who have aphantasia (the inability to visualize mental images) are more likely to be generative AI users. A common reason for using it seems to be as a method of visualizing something they have in their head, and most users seem to be happy with flawed “close enough” AI renders
Where were our weres? Our werewares will cover your needs, whether rats, rabbits, or the newest werewolf, weretiger and wereboar. Bear with us for a werebear, too ! Just three of nearly 50 remastered Otherworld models (fenrisgames.com) now living in the Fenris miniatures crypts.
more potential unlocked minis on the Bronze Age #RubbleCity kickstarter. can't wait to get these in hand!
new #RubbleCity models imminent? maybe some Owlthenians if this KS unlocks them
