The only reason the clip from Part Deux was used was because it was a clue for Lupin the Third Part 2. The 'might be a second clue' was a jeep shows up in the clip that looks coincidentally close to the one in the first Part 2 opening.

The Lupin handheld lives! Playing it briefly, the main point of the game is to shoot out lamps & avoid the guards. Getting caught 3 times ends the game. There are 2 versions of the game mode & also a clock mode that cycles through the sprites. No Lupin midi music, unfortunately!
