Just under 30k words for my current submission I am working on for Trials in Tainted Space. I think I have all the bones in place now. Tomorrow I start transferring it from the worksheet document to something more professional. Still a lot of work to be done, but progress is being made.
I think part of the weirdly strong discourse around 9/11 this year is people looking at Trump smearing shit all over and burning everything down, and being able to very clearly go "yeah, Bin Laden absolutely called his shot" in a way that even during his first term would have been less defendable.
Having grown up during the "Video games cause violence" moral panic, the irony that there are computer programs that are well documented to cause psychosis and they're being pushed hard is not lost on me at all. This shit has gotta go
