I'd be adapting Sherlock Holmes, From the Earth to the Moon, and Greek Myths. Given that Sherlock has a ttrpg, and as an adult i realize there are better people to do the Greek Myths justice, I think a Jules Verne ttrpg could be really cool. (If it doesn't exist yet!)

Okay. You have unfortunately been hit with the curse that makes you adapt a work you liked as a kid into a ttrpg. What thing are you adapting?

Had a great board game day with a bunch of people this weekend! Got almost everything from Gencon and UKGE to the table, including: Spooktacular Night at the Zoo Digging for Dinos Railway Porters 3 Chapters Also got to the silly but fun Hot Streak.

My team (Cosmere RPG) is prepping for the ☁️🪙Mistborn release 🪙☁️. I want to highlight the folks who MAKE our games (designers/editors/art) and talk handbook design, adventure design, playtesting, worldbuilding, etc. If you do interviews/reviews, large or small, and want to have us on; DM or reply!

I spent 4 hours working at the Ghostfire Gaming booth at GenCon and had a great time. My most common conversation starter was "how's your con going?" I also learned that I'd apparently been in so many board game chats on the other side of the booth, that I immediately knew how to pitch one.

I honestly believe anyone interested in making games should try boothing to sell/explain and demo games - it’s such an effective crash course in learning how a large variety of players engage with games.

Last day of Gencon gave me the fanboy moment of my life: meeting Timothy Zahn - the man whose books made me fall in love with Star Wars. His characters - Mara, Thrawn, Talon - have stayed with me through the decades. Thanks to Catalyst Game Labs for hosting him! Sick art print by Joe Corroney.

Checks to resist purchasing things are always at a disadvantage in the Monte Cook Games room at Gencon I got away with a small purchase and picked up Cypher 2 player guide!

I got to try out Bagged & Boarded board game at GenCon yesterday, doing a full playthrough in about 90min. Really really great game about collecting comic books. It has very intuitive mechanics and a great theme. Looks intimidating, but actually pretty simple. Way loghter than a euro.
