When I read @barilleon.com 's Fall of Blackbottom, I thought, "This is everything this adventure should be and needed to be." It challenged heroes and forced hard choices. It's so amazing to see reviews engaging in that design. It's one of the adventures I reference most when I think about design.

The 11-foot pole came out of a conversation with the folks at @caesar-ink.bsky.social, who noted that many pits are exactly 10 feet wide and if you add 1 foot to the pole, you now have precarious balance beam situations.
