This is actually quite smart of AOC.A lot of the MAHA adherents have been let down by a medical establishment that dismisses women’s concerns at every stage-birthing to menopause(which they only recently started studying). They should have somewhere to turn for non crazy solutions to real problems.

There is pervasive corruption across our healthcare and agricultural systems that defy party lines. I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.

Uber’s lawyer “asked Ms. Doe exactly how much Tito’s vodka she had drunk, how many milligrams of Adderall she had taken and whether she had “felt regret” about mixing the two. And she asked Ms. Doe what she had been wearing. “Can you describe the dress? …Were you wearing heels or boots or flats?”

Uber’s Strategy for Fighting Sexual Assault Suits: ‘What Were You Wearing?’

The ride-hailing giant promised to handle legal claims “in a way that is best for the survivor.” Its lawyers are pursuing a far more aggressive strategy.

I didn’t have Jeanine Pirro pointing out that the emperor’s new clothes were missing on my bingo card. A former Fox personality acknowledging reality? I am surprised. In Dropping Reflecting Pool Case, Pirro Draws Trump’s Wrath www.nytimes.com/2026/08/01/u...

Generative AI has been a politically divisive topic. Many on the left reject it outright because it regurgitates information it acquired illegally, hurts artists, and damages the environment. Many on the right don’t seem to care.

You can’t have discussion and debate with bad faith actors. You can’t have a real discussion with the other side doesn’t value evidence and truth. You can’t have a real debate when the other side makes threats. And right now, many in the Republican Party are bad faith actors.

The more I see of the vile attacks and conspiracy comments from Republican senators on that panel, the more clear it is that silence is the correct response. You can’t counter the deluge of lies in that context. The vaccine for Covid was a great development. WTF these idiots attacking scientists.

The GOP scapegoating attacks on Dr. Fauci, a spectacle designed to affirm the conspiracy theories of a brain-wormed base, are chilling. What scientist or public servant, in their right minds, will choose to put themselves on the line during the next pandemic or crisis? www.cnn.com/2026/07/29/p...

A reasonable decision by Dr Fauci in the face of persecution from right-wing conspiracy theorists. Rand Paul has attacked and threatened Fauci for years. The rest of us need to stand up for science and scientists. Stop the new McCarthyism.

Avoidance is the capital cut of the state of Denial. Lots of great attractions and things to do in Avoidance, if you’re ever in Denial. You can do the dishes or fold the laundry. And my personal favorite, read another article.

If you have been getting propaganda emails from other parts of the govt (e.g. VA, CMS from Dr. Oz) please post screenshots in the replies. There has been a lot about how government social media accounts have gone MAGA, but the government emailing you feels different. CC @philiprocco.bsky.social

New from @philiprocco.bsky.social at Can We Still Govern: Chances are that you or a family member got an email from the Social Security Administration about how Trump is fixing the program. Using govt resources for partisan propaganda should be a scandal. 🧵 donmoynihan.substack.com/p/the-federa...
