AI settings are now available in @mackinac.social and the @atexplore.social MCP has been updated to respect these settings. This is built to on the @lexicon.community Lexicon so it will work with any app that respects those settings.

ICYMI: We have a new "AI Preferences" setting This allows you to announce to the entire ATmosphere network what you consent to regarding AI use of your public data. Other apps can see this but ~may not~ respect the settings We built this to give you a place to set these and will 100% respect them

AT Explore’s verifications were recently migrated to @mackinac.social to manage trusted verifiers.

Mackinac supports custom verifications via @microcosm.blue. In settings -> verifications, you can set which verifiers you trust. You can verify users in the UI and manage your verification records.

A New Social is at #AtmosphereConf and announcing new features for Bounce, the protocol migration service. Soon, you'll be able to use Bounce to migrate your bridged account into any PDS in the Atmosphere, and keep all your followers in the Fediverse! Check out Bounce at bounce.anew.social.

I’ve been kinda heads down on this for a while, but I think it’s in a spot where I’m ready for others to try it out. Mackinac is a multi-protocol client; you can use both your Bluesky and Mastodon accounts. This builds on some of the work I’ve been doing with @atexplore.social. Try it out!

Update 🚀: We've unified our search into a single input. Results across all types will now show in a single list, no more dropdown to select type.

New: We've added a simpler view to collection and record pages for those that just want to look at the data. This changes the scope of data that is fetched, so these views should be a little faster than the rich view.

Since the pronouns labeler is gone.

OAuth is now live with support for editing and deleting records. Create is coming very soon.

We've added support for replies on record pages. Now when you're viewing a post, you can see a threaded view of the conversation. This just works on Bluesky posts, but we'll expand this to more lexicons and ActivityPub posts.

We’ve pushed some additional updates to our ActivityPub support. Tags now work, and you can click through to the tagged user’s profile page. We’ve also migrated another batch of components to our new design system. Check it out!

Today we’ve expanded support a bit more. ActivityPub posts should now show engagement numbers, we added support for boosted posts, and the view data modal that we have for AT Protocol posts is now available on ActivityPub.

We’re changing the design system we’re using, so you’ll start to see some changes to UX. We’re starting small and will make incremental changes.

Support for @standard.site documents, publications, and subscriptions is now live! This is an extension of the @leaflet.pub support we added last year. Lets us know if you see any issues.

We also updated the look of ActivityPub profile pages to better match AT Protocol profiles.

We pushed some updates today that should make the app feel much faster. There’s still a few more performance improvements we’re working on.

We’re working on improving search by expanding the types of data you can search across. In addition to users, you can now search Lexicons! We plan to continue expanding search to include other types of data as well.

Small update: the Backlinks tab now has the same UX as the Collections tab. This makes browsing backlinks a bit easier.

OAuth is coming very soon to AT Explore!

I’ve been doing some testing on oauth for @atexplore.social with record editing/deleting. This should be ready this week. It’s going to enable a bunch of other authenticated features I want to build.
