We understand that times are tough. Archive of Our Own being down for the next 2-4 weeks is a hardship few could have prepared for. Our thoughts are with everyone currently wandering the internet like Victorian orphans wondering where to turn for their daily dose of romance, angst, found family, questionable life choices, and extremely specific fictional scenarios.
Please know that we are here for you during this difficult time.
We may not be AO3. We may not have your 47 open tabs, your carefully curated bookmarks, or that one fic you’ve reread seventeen times.
But we have hearts. We have community. We have Libby and Hoopla. Most importantly we have librarians that understand that sometimes the only thing standing between you and complete emotional breakdown is 150,000 words of slow burn.
Lean on each other. Share your favorite fics. Recommend something new. Revisit an old favorite. Hydrate. Touch grass if absolutely necessary. We will get through this together.
