Great turnout for the @americancancersoc.bsky.social Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser! Proud to be part of Team @kucancercenter.bsky.social who already raised more than $11k for this event. Even caught a glimpse of @chiefs.bsky.social KC Wolf!!
Spent the last couple days back in Ithaca for the Intercampus Cancer Metabolism Symposium where it was a pleasure giving a keynote address related to our work exploring the intersection of obesity and genetics, and their role in driving breast cancer risk.
What a day!! The Garmin KC Marathon is the hilliest marathon I’ve run and possibly the most rewarding. Ecstatic with having placed 3rd in my age group and so grateful for the opportunity to push myself. @kucancercenter.bsky.social @thevfoundation.bsky.social
Looking forward to discussing advances in this area and having the opportunity to attend SABCS again! @kucancercenter.bsky.social
