What's especially fun about this is that they exposed Pearson to waivers to carry an extra infielder for essentially one game. The night before, both Jeremy Peña (hamstring cramp) and Christian Walker (hip tightness) had left the game, so Houston wanted Raynel Delgado available for coverage.

I’m all for David Zaslav hate, but Warner already beat that write-off when it sold the movie to Ketchup Entertainment for ~$50M. The interesting question now is whether Ketchup can turn a profit after paying that acquisition cost, marketing the movie, and splitting the box office with theaters.
