Silly to treat Digger, of all movies, as the great test case. the last chance for audiences to prove that they will embrace an original movie not based on existing IP. I guess Sinners and Weapons and Marty Supreme and Obsession never happened. It's fine for a movie to be a divisive flop. It happens!

Ponyo was one of the first Studio Ghibli films I saw and it's one that has really just been cozy to watch. The colors here really are warm and sweet and I just love the two kids in this a lot. It's such a delight.

Randomly had this idea for a Star Wars horror movie where a bunch of random people are trapped in a large ship or facility or something and being hunted down by a Sith. But then the final girl turns out to be Force sensitive and the climax is basically Friday the 13th Part VII.

Kind of an odd choice for a remaster tbh. I remember it being a decent game, don't get me wrong, but it's one of those games I ever saw much clamoring for like Battle for Bikini Bottom or, to use a game that hasn't gotten the treatment yet, Simpsons: Hit & Run.

Read this thread! I’m happy to see more people are pushing back against the “Hexed is an Owl House ripoff” conspiracy theory. Even people who worked on the show are calling this out! I’m looking forward to seeing Hexed and the latest trailer really disproved this nothingburger of a controversy.

Two things can be true. Rainbow capitalism IS performative. All marketing is. It is also much better than the alternative of these corporations throwing LGBTQ+ and other minorities to the altar of fascism and I believe it to be a sign of changing times for the better.
