Two THOUSAND dollars

Lula winning is great for the planet, great for Brazil, and great for people who aren't revanchist assholes everywhere in the world, but let's not forget that it's also going to make some of the worst people on Earth extremely sad and mad. We should enjoy that, as a little treat.

I usually have to work really hard to not be a doomer/worst-case-scenario person, but between Hungary, Serbia, and Brazil, I am suddenly gaining a lot more hope that global fascism can be successfully rolled back through democratic means

People bag on video game fans, but music fans can honestly be the fucking worst. They simultaneously want their favorite acts to focus down and release new tracks/albums that are uniformly bangers on schedule, but not be TOO successful, because that makes you a shill and a sellout.

Look, as a creator under capitalism, if your audience doesn't want AI slop, lecturing and cajoling them about how they actually should love slop is not the winning move you think it is. Either stop making slop, or be satisfied with customers who like slop. That's just how the free market works
