🇪🇸 Grazie Eugenio! A privilege to deliver the keynote on The #MenopausePenalty -open to the public, translated live into Spanish — exactly the kind of conversation this topic deserves. The discussion afterwards with the public was such a highlight! #Menopause #WomensHealth

Menopause has real consequences for women’s health, work, and earnings. Glad to see out work on “The #Menopause #Penalty” cited in today’s New York Times Opinion piece by Gillian Goddard, which gets an important point exactly right: hormone therapy does not need to promise longevity to be worth it.

“Hormone therapy is not some fountain of youth, but it doesn’t need to be,” the endocrinologist Gillian Goddard writes. “Menopause symptoms can be life-disrupting, and that alone is enough to warrant effective treatment.”
