For those keeping track… Paramount’s new leadership under the Ellisons eliminated more than 3,000 jobs after taking control. Now they want us to believe that absorbing WB will somehow preserve jobs. Let’s revisit this in 2029, shall we? Place your bets.

I will also add that I think it takes tremendous bravery to be trans, and that living your best life is a net positive for the world, and the best comics are about being the best you you can be. So of course I would love trans people, like I love my favorite superheroes.

Trans rights is inherently a bodily autonomy issue. Just like abortion rights is. We can't have gender equity or reproductive freedom without trans rights. Full stop. You can yell at me and make up shit that you claim I've said if it makes you feel better. I don't care. I'm right. And you know it.

People say we can't compare this to the Third Reich because of the atrocities but we only found out about the atrocities after the fact when it was all said and done and we're not done with this yet so I am sure the worst stomach churning shit has yet to be revealed.

ICYMI: The US is currently holding three times as many people in immigrant detention as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939 — six years into the Third Reich, and just before the start of World War II.

Has any Democrat of any stature ever said "no single person deserves to go without"? Without qualifying it with "hard-working Americans" or "taxpayers" or some shit. Just a blanket true statement. No single person should suffer. Period.

I like to think Joe's listening to Millions Now Living Will Never Die and thinking about how Tortoise's superlative mix of jazz, dub, and krautrock is as smooth as Camel's unique blend of nicotine, tar, and formaldehyde.

Joe Camel lays in bed, a remote control for the CD player in one hand and a lit cigarette in the other. He's wearing some sweet round shapes.
