I design book covers. I’m not an artist. Can’t draw for beans. If you are an author and need a cover, you can do this too. You wrote the book. You care about the book. Don’t ruin it with shortcuts that drive readers away. There are so many resources out there. Give it a go!
I made my own covers (and bookmarks) using royalty free images and Photoshop/Affinity. AI isn’t necessary.

You can use stock images / art for your covers without involving AI-gen images. Writers and publishers have been getting covers made forEVER w/o AI-gen art and we don't have to use the tools of the enemy now.
