Guys, I think I might be an artist. This is a word with shifting goals for me. I’ve sold 130 stories, but I consider writing a craft not an art. I design book covers for people, but that’s design, not art. I’ve never been comfortable calling myself an artist, basically because I can’t draw.

I cannot imagine trying to teach the HAMES method for remembering Great Lakes.
Good interview with Matt Hornsby on the Folded Space podcast today. I sometimes get a bit of imposter syndrome when listening to author interviews. My own writing process is so slap-dash that when I hear someone else’s they sound so much more legitimate. We all have our process though!
Any Porter Robinson fans out there? I feel like this community doesn’t lean very electronic and when it does it’s more 90s and early 2000s (also great!). The Worlds and Nurture albums are maybe my favorite albums ever though. :p

Publication day! 🥳🎉🙌 My collection "After You Were Lost" was published by WATG Press today. It's a collection that means a lot to me, and I'm excited that people will finally get to read it. All of the 23 flash and micro stories within deal with grief in different ways. Something I know much about.
