After giving it some thought, I figure there's never going to be a perfect time to open for horror/Weird fic collection submissions. Why not now while my job is still in a slow period? If you're BIPOC and/or queer, I'm especially interested in reading your work: cursedmorsels.com/submission-c...

Big news from @aanpress.bsky.social this morning! I was in the last anthology and it was such a great experience. One of our best indie publishers out there. Let's support Todd and his work!

The pre-launch link for our next KS book campaign is now active - www.kickstarter.com/projects/526... #sff #bookshy #sf #fantasy Hope you'll join AaN's campaign and pledge to help bring two new books to life and support talented authors.

Working today to start the KS planning for "Are You Everything Alright" and "Endings" and writing up the OC submission info. We'll need a KS to fund these books before we can put any stories under contract. I'll have firmer dates on the OC as soon as I can. "A Second Cup" will be an add-on book.

Full cover for "Are You Everything Alright" showing a rainy urban intersection mostly devoid of people. Title is small and lets the melancholy of the city shine through.Cover layout with the title horizontally spread across both french flaps, both sides of the cover and the spine. The image is of a medusa snake headed techno god with their arms spread wide and torso dissolving into pixels, floating over a lone hero standing on a rock outcropping.Cover showing an astronaut looking back at the reader, standing on a rocky outcropping. In the distance stars and planetary rings can be seen.

With the success of "Tea or Coffee, Stars, and Gravity" [https://aanpress.com/aanorder.html#tcsg] AaN is looking to publish an additional volume of stories by authors we did not have the budget for in the first book. More info coming on "A Second Cup" and a KS campaign this autumn.
