Xenoblade Chronicles 2: In Poor Taste
In the near-decade I've nurtured the belief that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the ugly outlier of its superlative Xeno-brethren, I've stopped a few times to wonder if I'd been overly harsh in my appraisal. A creeping fog over my long-term memory had left only vague distaste on my palate. I remember the story feeling hammy, the gameplay feeling clunky, the synthesis of it all feeling jagged and imprecise.

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!

there's also a fixation on specifically final fantasy games from when they were young enough and the graphics were simple enough they could apply their own idea of what the game was actually like which is how you get "they ruined Final Fantasy when it stopped being about slaying dragons"

Update: We are working on a follow-up to the LG story and have some disturbing findings re: LG's products. It will take us a while to parse everything and we have involved multiple security researchers, lawyers (working on reading around 40,000 words of LG agreements that are, generally, terrifying
