With Seattle CM Daniel Strauss you know it's gonna be one of two options: flip or flop. Right now he sees opportunity in joining the Do Nothing (but Hate on the Mayor) Caucus, so he's making up reasons to attack her budget. The man has no spine and no moral center. It's frankly embarassing.

As you noted last year, Strauss approved the current SPOG contract that severely limited the CARE team, inhibiting its momentum.

This is a book about how completely unprincipled attention hounds will always make their way to the right because they know the right will have them. The NYMag piece? I guess that’s a story about how unprincipled attention hounds deserve attention as long as they’re shitting on democrats.
