Posters by @springmagca.bsky.social, a "magazine of socialist ideas in action," have appeared in downtown Halifax to highlight the challenges migrant workers face and the rise of anti-immigrant sentiment in Canada, pointing at who promotes it and why. "Blame billionaires, not immigrants!"

BLAME BOSSES NOT IMMIGRANTS" Below this, additional text explains: • "Bosses exploit migrant workers because their immigration status gives them fewer rights." • "This erodes working conditions for everyone—more than 36% of Canadian workers are now in precarious jobs." • "Granting migrants equal rights raises the floor to improve working conditions for all workers." At the bottom, a smaller line of text states: "All workers must stand together." Parts of another similar poster are visible on the same pole. Lest we forget: "US workers–including some who may have voted for Trump–are not our enemy. In most cases, they are reeling from 40 years of neoliberalism and a worsening cost-of-living crisis."
