During a recent U.S. Senate committee hearing, Ohio Republican U.S. Sen. Jon Husted spoke against the abortion pill, a target of the Trump administration as well as legislation at the Ohio Statehouse.

Anyway, in conclusion, at this very moment, someone in red America is taking abortion medications out of a bulk supply in their closet and putting it in a nondescript envelope to mail. This will continue to happen regardless of what the Senate does or doesn't do next.

Folks, it’s high time we cleared something up: abortion pills and “morning after” pills are two different things. You take the morning after pill when you have the ingredients for tacos. You take abortion pills when you have an existing taco you don’t want to or can’t have.

“I was with you, until you said ‘pregnant people.’” I get this a lot. I’m an abortion provider, and the CEO and President of an org known for abortion advocacy. Let’s talk about why I use inclusive language — and why I’m not stopping. 🧵

if you are “pro-choice” and also transphobic, you are not serious about undoing the control, white supremacy, and patriarchy that make abortion bans possible and you are certainly no ally to bodily autonomy or self-determination

Abortion is health care, but it can also be an act of hope or a prayer or a wish or a Hail Mary for the lives patients want to protect or build or keep imagining. Some people don’t want to be pregnant, they have an abortion, they go on to lead the lives they imagined. Abortion is worth celebrating.

I hate the Hyde Amendment and you should too! It prohibits federal funds, like Medicaid, from being used to pay for abortion care. It sucks soooo bad.

Science, not politics, should guide medical care. Yet the Trump administration and RFK Jr. are spreading false claims about Tylenol that create fear and confusion for pregnant patients. Know this: The science is settled. Tylenol is safe in pregnancy. Thank you for having me @msnbc.com.

The same bs they're spewing about autism and tylenol is the same bs they're spewing about trans people's healthcare. It's the exact same playbook and the fact that the media can see through one and not the other is a damning indictment of how complicit they are in the attack on trans lives.

Gotta say we when we worked our ass off to get into to medical school and complete the arduous journey of residency, we didn’t expect to spend so much time defending science and medicine from a *checks notes* whale carcass kidnapper
