breaks my heart when people respond to zine scams with long threads of "advice" boiling down to 1) don't make zines and 2) if you do, professionalize. genuinely think my advice would be the complete opposite. go smaller, go shittier, go more diy, and all of that will keep it manageable.

kos@kosmicdream.bsky.social · 2w agoit's hard to say something about FFAK i haven't said before.. but.. i always laugh at it being kind of the antithesis of so much "comic advice." I think people get very psychologically afraid of long-format comics for a lot of reasons, both making or being fans of them.
