seeing friends need support and going "oh I could help out" then realising last month I needed help towards the end of the pay period. I'm glad I'm getting better at this but I miss being able to be carelessly selfless when I had a well paying job

Got a new camera and lens for my imaging machine only to realize I now have to redesign the camera mount for the 5th time. This time I'm planning on using QR plates since I'm using a heavier lens and want to reduce the need for future redesigns.

use firefox or a firefox based browser and have too many tabs? right click a tab, select all tabs, right click again, bookmark tabs. that, or use firefox profiles. I forgot I used profiles years ago to keep session history so i could always restore tabs.

Thinking about making a factory themed game in Java to touch up on my skills. Looking online for asset packs it looks like I'll have to go and make my own assets for it though. Shouldn't be too difficult. #gamedev

I'm sure absolutely nothing will go wrong with adding features to my project roadmap late at night. I'm sure most of them are unnecessary and can't be tested too well, but I'm pretty sure some of these are also ideas I've had for a while, but never bothered writing down. #softwaredevelopment

Man mobile file upload UIs will really do ANYTHING but just show you the file system on your device and let you select a file from it It's like they think "files" and "folders" are scary and unintuitive for the average user, which MIGHT even be true but like ...

Also, look, I know there is still *so much* imperial measure hardware out there, but can we all please *please* just standardize everything to proper metric already, (yes yes, I know the inch is defined in terms of the mm, so it is /technically/ metric by association, but I still hate it)
