One forest (Canada Park) destroyed by the settler arson was planted with funds raised in Canada after the Palestinian village of Imwas was ethnically cleansed by Israel in 1967 along w/2 nearby villages. Imwas had existed since the 3rd century before Israel destroyed it. Photos: 1958, 1968, 1988

Arid landscape remained Same village now covered with non indigenous pine trees and other planted non native species with the map showing where the buildings of the historic village once stood Imwas or Emmaus (Arabic: عِمواس, romanized: ʿImwās), known in classical times as Nicopolis (Ancient Greek: Νικόπολις, lit. 'City of Victory'), is a depopulated Palestinian village located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southeast of the city of Ramla and 26 kilometres (16 mi) from Jerusalem in the Latrun salient of the West Bank.[2] It is traditionally (possibly from as early as the 3rd century, but probably incorrectly) identified with the biblical Emmaus.[3] Its population was expelled and its buildings razed by Israeli forces during the Naksa of 1967.

The most obvious linguistic contortion is the abuse of the term "antisemitism" to provide protection for Zionism and Israel. Zionism is definitely not Judaism. Zionism is real antisemitism in the pursuit of imperialism and right wing nationalism.

The most evil depraved demonic sociopathic thing about the genocide of the Palestinians is the ideology that perpetrated the Holocaust is using the people they Holocausted as a shield from criticism of the new Holocaust they are perpetrating. Powerful linguistic games at work here.

Care about children being murdered in ongoing genocides as much as you care about penguins being hit by tariffs. (The penguin jokes and memes are effective; ridicule of incompetence and stupidity is a potent weapon against tyranny, but do remember murder of children in Sudan & Palestine.)

The core-periphery bifurcation of the world economy is not only real, but national governments are fully conscious of its reality. The North fights to maintain this violent system, which fattens their decrepit ruling classes, while the South fights to abolish it.
