Was super inactive for the last 2 weeks. We were in Greece for a Vacation trip, had some lovely food and now I'm ready to crank some issues and tickets.

Hey Berliners: things have felt especially dark to me in our industry lately. It's good to remember what hasn't changed: building high-quality products & healthy teams. If that resonates, join us next week for another PB&J workshop. Get advice, give advice, meet like-minded folks. luma.com/8i8a1q3u

Lets say full AI coding is really the future: Does that mean Coding as a hobby or Open Source is now "pay to win" or even comes with a big paywall to just get started in? Speaking from the perspective of a junior / beginner.
@svenadlung.bsky.social and I started to build something really cool for Tiptap. Official Tiptap DevTools! :) I'd love to hear some insights on how much you would use this if you used Tiptap before. It lets you see the live document & plugin state, see extension configuration, run commands & more
@bdbch.com and I both started building Tiptap DevTools for Chrome – independently, without knowing about each other’s work. We wanted an easier way to inspect a Tiptap editor. Still early, but it feels like a good signal. Would this be useful for you? What would you inspect or debug?
If you used Hocuspocus for real-time collaboration - we'd love to collect some feedback to make it better.
Do you use Hocuspocus, Tiptap's open-source real-time collaboration engine? If so, we'd love to hear from you: f you can spare five minutes, fill out this survey: ggl.link/hp-survey In exchange you'll receive my gratitude. Oh, and also a chance to win a $50 gift card. (More info: hocuspocus.dev)

Hello World! finally I had to succumb to the pressure by @bdbch.com and do a first post about the webapp I built. It's an tracker for your vacation expenses! When you're traveling with people, there is always someone who foots the bill and this will keep track and calculate balances for y'all!
Anyone knows the reason why the Bluesky login is so unnecessarily complicated compared to something like mu - why do I need to pick my PDS provider manually while other clients can just get this info from my handle and send me there automatically?
Used @tldraw.com offline with Claude the first time today and I love it so much! saved me a lot of time to draft out contribution workflows that would've been annoying work for me. Thanks @steveruizok.bsky.social for this great piece of software ❤️
Proud that my team supports confs in Europe now. ❤️❤️❤️
If you’ve ever built a rich text editing experience, chances are you’ve come across @tiptap.dev. Open source, developer-first and built to give developers the freedom to create. That’s exactly the kind of work we love seeing in the JS ecosystem. Thank you, Tiptap, for supporting conf.zurichjs.com!
Someone once wrote "AI Coding is coding with pay2win" and that still resonates in my head sometimes.
Oh I didn't know Shadcn is working on Editor components based on Tiptap. How nice is that! github.com/shadcn-labs/... @shadcn.com big shoutout for picking us ♥️

What do you call accounts on the Atmosphere? Bluesky Account? ATProto Account? Atmosphere Account?
X where you can't read posts properly without having an account, you can't even look at a users profile or change a videos volume. Worst platform out there.
nitter.net is down. xcancel.com may go soon, too. all the respect to the folks at nitter for their services so far, but to be honest, X completely locking itself out of the web is probably a net positive for us all in the long term
✅ the thought of owning a framework desktop for hosting local LLMs ❌ the thought of having to live with my financially irresponsible decisions
let's get our hands dirty - anyone wants to help with v4?

This week, we officially started working on Tiptap v4. The idea hub on GitHub has been open for a while, and every contribution helps us shape what v4 will become. We'll keep v3 in maintenance mode but won't add new features. github.com/ueberdosis/t...
Throw @dennissmuda.com a follow! He didn't post anything yet but he plans to build a few small things based on ATProto after I pitched him the whole idea behind it yesterday.
I'm converting people over to the Atmosphere one person at a time, first @rndmmrtn.eurosky.social, then @markuskrause.eurosky.social and now @dennissmuda.eurosky.social - welcome! :)
Installing & Setting up Tiptap will become a lot easier in the next version.
First Commit for Tiptap 4 coming soon. :) Anyone knows what changed?
I need some help from the Atmosphere people. I'm building something right now with Next, and I'm using `@atproto/oauth-client-node` for the oauth implementation `@atproto/api` for fetching data The experience however wasn't really the best, specially around the oauth setup.
Do we already have a collection of apps using the new ATProto Spaces Alpha?
Tested self-hosting my PDS, with coolify it was seriously just one click. That is amazing. (mu.social/profile/did:...) I think the only problem right now is DNS and SSL certs but this was far easier than I thought.
