Just thinking: - Obsidian Sync on your own PDS - Notion alts - Discord alts - Family/Team planning apps - Figma / Figjam alts - Social media planning apps - AI tools for keeping memories, plans, configurations at one place - CRMs - Photo Libraries - Client / Freelancer tools (with sifa integration)

I wonder what will happen when private data finally hits PDS. I mean people could use their PDS for all kinds of crazy stuff! 😄

Personal opinion and recommendation: Avoid large conferences like WeAreDevelopers and embrace + enjoy smaller ones like @localfirstconf.com. I'm currently watching localfirstconf talks and all of them are more interesting than anything I've seen on WAD by a large magnitude!

On one side people run 24/7 AI agents to do the most mundane and unnecessary shit while on the other side the Rhine and Danube river are completely dried up rn. Dystopian as fuck.

The design job market in Berlin is absolutely terrible right now. Anyone knows someone who's looking for a brand or graphic designer or knows someone in Berlin that could look for one? My partner is looking for a new opportunity but going through LinkedIn or other job platforms is terrible.

There's a dooming notion going around that making a living with software is "dead" because of AI because nowadays people just can vibe code their own apps, libraries or frameworks if they need to - imho I'd still rather pay for a professionally maintained solution but I wonder if there's some truth

Let's say you have the following setup: - multiple opensource repos - 1-2 closed source repos - all of them are related to each other and have cross-dependencies Where would you put the docs if your documentation should be one page.

I need some RSS recommendations or blogs you enjoy reading. I'm looking for tech / opensource / atproto / ai focused resources. Would love some inspo! 🤲

After years of making everyone build their own find-and-replace extension, we have decided that this should perhaps be our problem too. Coming very soon. More small OSS extensions will follow for other things you should never have needed to implement yourself.

nuxters are the best ❤️ I have lots of PRs still to merge before we announce our winners, but ... this is incredible. can you believe we closed 242 issues in our inaugural nuxtathon? 🤯 now, please get some sleep! 😴

a screenshot from nuxtathon.live, showing 90 PRs submitted, 65 PRs merged, 242 issues closed

and 0s of time remaining!

I am so not looking forward for the WC Finale "Ad break" in the middle of the match. Feels so unreal/fake to me. The pre-show was weird already with Robin Williams or Tom Cruise (???)
