There's a reason I've been on one for the past week almost. She's now in hospice at home.

So there is a fake Comic Fury app in the google play store (see pictured). Don't download this, it's not real. The real Comic Fury site is not owned by the developer and there are no microtransactions. Please help Kyo, the real creator and owner of Comic Fury, by reporting its ass.

Screenshot of a "Comic Fury" app in the google play store by developer "StonePathDigital" that "contains ads" and "in-app purchases".

Clip Studio Paint is the most popular software for making comics, manga and webtoons and webcomics today, and the robust Asset Store is a major reason for its popularity. From 3D renders of complex background environments to brushes to pose references, the Asset Store is filled with tools to help comic creators and illustrators speed up their work process.

OPINION: The tragedy of Tapas’s shutdown

In May I wrote an opinion piece about the state of webcomics and webtoons. Today, news broke that major webcomics platform Tapas will be shutting down. As described in my piece, worrying signs had already been there for a few years. Tapas had stopped publishing new English-language original comics in 2023, and has been cutting staff and costs on the North American side even before that.

Welp, here we go again.. :( I always felt Tapas lost its identity ever since the merging into Kakao, now its dissolving. It was a website I was going to post on, but that crosses out
