One of my (many) white whales: the 90s Ai no Kusabi. Its pedigree alone makes it worth preserving. But it’s 30+ years old, BL and fairly explicit, so that limits the audience (if it could even be licensed in the first place). It really is an incredible piece of work that deserves a remaster.

Extra Olympia Kyklos, based on the manga by Mari "Thermae Romae" Yamazaki, which I still sincerely believe was one of the best anime of 2020. It's funny af and I love the way it uses different types of stop-motion to portray the worlds of ancient Greece and 1960s Japan. youtu.be/CPsNV0TgxDY
