Welp. I lost my Apple Pencil at the airport in the security line 😢 RIP little friend, you were so good to me for over 7 years and helped me draw so many things… I’ve been considering getting a new iPad anyway so I guess it is time to finally pull the trigger with that and a new Pencil.
Sid started playing Claire Obscur: Expedition 33 and it is actually really great for French practice even if they are playing in English! All the enemy names are in French and we are learning important things like swear words 😆
We learned the French alphabet and numbers in class today 😂 finally some basics. Also info about the Paris metro, which is quite handy. Still barely keeping my head above water but surviving 👍
We are about to start our second week of learning French. Très difficile 😵💫 The class is fully immersive, and we just have to do our best to understand everything with context clues. I’m surprised at how much I can understand from similarities in English. The pronunciation is what gets me tho.
To commemorate the collaboration between Pokémon and the ESA, a special Pikachu plush was sent to the International Space Station from April 11th through June 17th What a picture. Absolutely stunning

G.C. Houle@gchoule.bsky.social · 3w agoJust kidding, this is the worst bit - assigning colors to every shape and ganging them together for cutting. Every artboard is a different paper i'm going to run through the cutter. I have a three kinds of black pieces for example: matte black paper, shiny black paper, and a black faux leather.
more videogames should have a dedicated button to talking to a little freak of a woman

French classes start next week eek! I am so nervous 😂 but I want to be more prepared for the next time we visit French-speaking countries. At least Sid and I are both new to the language so we can study together ❤️
I’m not the first person to make this observation but the prevalence of nauseating ai-generated business logos means stuff like this hits CRAZY for me now
Donated blood!! And got blood sacrifice Hello Kitty and snacks in exchange ❤️
Got to play the Stranger Than Heaven demo at PAX this weekend! Very different feel and fighting style from Yakuza but I am looking forward to playing it when it comes out.
