Yer another of many many many @shoebox.gg interviews to come. This one ft. Wizards and Warlocks. These two dudes rock. And not just cause they were excited to draft my cube. They are positive community leaders with a love and excitement for (almost😅) all things MTG!
Shoebox is one of the best cons I’ve been to in a long time. Unlike most other cons which feel like giant spectacle shows, @shoebox.gg felt like a giant convention full of friends who all came to play your favorite game.

I got to run my first ever cube event, ate a really normal amount of cheese, and got to meet new friends. I can’t be more grateful for this weekend and am extremely sad it’s already over. If you missed @shoebox.gg you will not enter the kingdom of heaven (ESPCIALLY @toriofthevast.bsky.social)

@shoebox.gg went from the con i didnt think i could make to the one i could never see myself missing out in. i loved every chaotic second i spent with each and every one of you goobers. I’d like to take a second to highlight some of my favorite moments from the con!
I think despite everything, @shoebox.gg was the most fun I’ve had at a Magic Event in a LONG time. Seeing people be interested in my artwork so much that they gave me money for the first time was transcendent. I also played 8 games of Magic, way more than expected, and had a great time in each!
Getting serious post convention sads from leaving @shoebox.gg What an absolutely wonderful convention. I had so much fun hosting Value Vintage with the team and getting to meet so many people! Truly my favorite convention I've ever been to.

Travel stress aside, @shoebox.gg was a great event! Good vibes, teaming with @stryxfamiliar.bsky.social and @sampratt.bsky.social was a delight as expected and hanging with @ggards.bsky.social and his crew all weekend ruled capped off by an Oscar Watch Party last night. Til next time!
Unequivocally incredible weekend at @shoebox.gg. Vibes were great, everyone was up to play games and just jam. Excited about the future of this event, given how well the team was able to execute in spite of some truly difficult headwinds.
@shoebox.gg!! What an absolute treat. I played 14 games of EDH, 1 game of Value Vintage, and 1 game of Wizard's Tower. I ran into old friends, made some new friends, and even got asked to sign some cards and playmats. Thank you for the love and the memories.
For a first time convention, I gotta hand it to @shoebox.gg for putting on a fantastic maiden voyage. Everything went spectacularly and i could not be happier. When I got here Friday morning I made it a point to say yes to every game anyone asked me to play, and it was perfect.
Skipping Lobbert Khan to get a good night’s sleep ahead of a helldrive tomorrow. @shoebox.gg was incredible. Shoebox is incredible. Shoebox will be incredible when St. Paul is buried under the snows in ten years. See you fuckers and fuckesses next year.
I'm a bit more of a lurker on bluesky, but I wanted to post that I had a superb time at @shoebox.gg even though I couldn't make it in today due to the weather, and especially enjoyed meeting artists and browsing their wares. With that in mind, I would absolutely love to run it back next year! (1/2)

One of my favorite of the weekend’s “art de-grossings” @shoebox.gg so far. If you see me around (at an artist table or otherwise) I’m still doing simple coverups of any and all cards for free!
