It's Ana, the Forever GM who escaped from Vim! World weaver. Plot schemer. Grand Strategist. Raccoony turbo-nerd. Software dev. BS in Computer Science. Last seen at the ancient and haunted library outside of town. (She/Her)
A puppet performing a puppet on the radio!! Yes please… #behindthescenes
My Cities Skylines 2 let's play guilty pleasure continues. Check out this tram street the mad Dane Infrastructurist has created. Absolutely unhinged. Just build a damn subway lol.
Mechanical friction is just as important to TTRPGs as narrative friction.
My TTRPG hot take is we need stronger prescription in order to make games sing. When you offer complete player freedom across character builds, itemization, and challenges you have created a fundamentally unbalanceable system. You have to lock *something* down to create effective friction.
I haven’t even watched it yet, but for fuck’s sake can we just get NORMAL STAR TREK please? Last week’s was great, but why are we spending our last season doing genre parodies?

now i will happily fully admit i dont know much about basketball, but this seems like a really harsh punishment
Disinhibition caused by late-stage dementia, maybe?

Identity Verification Is Broken. The 153 Million Driver’s Licenses Now for Sale Are Proof
A massive trove of driver’s license scans allegedly stolen from an identity verification company shows the danger of creating honey pots of our most sensitive documents for malicious actors to exploit.

Being forced to JOIN more than three tables in a sproc is transphobic.
Whatever about the hull of the Lincoln, what I'm fascinated by is how discolored the F-35Cs appear in this photo
The modern conservative project explicitly supports impregnating children. The trans panic, anti-abortion politics, fearmongering about "over-medication" and disability support: it all comes back to a patriarchal freakout about losing control over who they see as their reproductive property.
Fox News complains that underage teenage girls aren’t getting pregnant enough: “The problem is teens and young adults. From ages 15-19, the fertility rate is down 70% in the last 2 decades, which means we are telling people who are young not to have babies.”
I'm sure national media will do everything they can to make sure the message the party takes away from Massachusetts is "actually voters don't care about age" instead of "this anti-trans bullshit is going over like botulism with the base"
Ran what will probably be my best Mythic Bastionland have for a while. A great mix of drama and side-splitting humor that I can't often execute so well.
[looks at the bond market] [looks at the stock market] c'mon, guys, which is it?
This and other apocalyptic commentary from a narcissist that knows deep in his bones that his power and life crumble away with every passing minute.
Someday soon hes going to be over and trans folk will continue to exist and, hopefully, thrive, for as long as there are humans on this planet.
Was made to review the team lead's pull request that was clearly done with genAI. How do I know? The crufty, unhelpful comments that pollute every file the thing touched.
Medicare for All is the guarantee of healthcare from cradle to grave—without premiums, copays, or deductibles. That’s it. Pass it.
Abolish opportunity cost and Time's inexorable arrow. I got more hobbies and projects I wanna do. I can't run thirty campaigns a week? Oppression. Can't visit all of my friends in the same year without exceeding time off? Unbearable Tyranny. Let me do *most* things, not *a few*. It's only fair.
