A giant house centipede crawled out from under a laundry basket and skittered under our bed too fast to whack it. So now we have to burn the house to the ground, salt the earth and move two area codes over.

I will need to add in the booze/wine/beer list, but so far it's about $19.3B in imports -- which would then cost US consumers an additional $9.65B. Helluva way to address inflation as you head into the midterms....

Council just got an update from City staff about data they've compiled from municipal rain gauges - 26 across the City. Some areas of the city experienced "a storm event close to or exceeding a 1 in 200-year event." 1/
