@drewgum.bsky.social 's book Saltburn is one of the most satisfying books I've read in a while. I didn't want it to end, but at the same time, I don't feel like I'm left wanting. Saltburn is about the absurd, but it's also about acceptance, I think. About loving who you are. Read this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BildMy 5th book, Saltburn, published last year. After the success of Flamingo Hotel Bearded Badger went into hiatus - life is tough for Indie publishers - but after a post by me on social media I was contacted by other writers, publishers with offers of help. One of those was Renard Press. And so Saltburn became one of their launch titles for Haywood Books. Saltburn is a celebration, with its queer cast of characters across the spectrum of sexualities finding joy in my reimagining of this seaside town. Saltburn is currently half price for Pride along with Renard Press's other LGBTQ+ titles. So what are you waiting for? Fill your rainbow bags or just give us a like or a share. These are becoming troubling times and I fear we are returning to times similar to the ones in which I grew up in. LGBTQ+ books are important because books are places where you can find yourself, people like you. That's why I've been writing LGBTQ+ characters for the past 25 years. Conversations with a Machine by Ruth Irwin I was sceptical of this, but Ruth is a friend. I was glad to see that in her poetic exploration of the capabilities of LLMs she was able to see its sycophantic tendencies and limitations through the surface appearance of creativity. Buy @renardpress.com!
