Ridiculously serious at times, seriously ridiculous at others. #ActuallyAutistic peer researcher : autism, eating disorders, co-production

Men are consistently under-represented in eating disorder research. We would love to change this! If you identify as a man, live in England, and have lived experience of eating disorders symptoms (no formal diagnosis needed!), please consider taking part in our study on calorie labels 👇 #EDAW

Why is it that we say, "Can't imagine it" ('unimagineable') or, "Wouldn't think of it" ('unthinkable') but even though we say, "Wouldn't dream of it" we don't say 'undreamable'?

Every time I need to cancel plans due to Autistic overwhelm, I think about the psychologist who, committed to the BPD framework, insisted that I experienced myself as unpredictable and unstable and could not maintain routine or relationships due to PD.

NEW PAPER: What do teenage girls think is causing the rise in depression & anxiety in their demographic? I was struck, during the analysis, about how often 'pressure' came up. Girls are under so much pressure to look and behave in certain ways 😔 Well done to Ola on her thoughtful leadership here

New research project ☺️ Have you had anorexia nervosa yourself and have you also held a role where you provide treatment to others with anorexia? Have you also experienced your own treatment for anorexia ending early? Please expand the poster below for more information-
