Finished reading High Conflict by Amanda Ripley. It was a very eye-opening read, one that I believe everyone should go read in our polarized day and age. Seriously, find a copy and go read it!

"The forest and the desert" is such a beautiful metaphor for how organizations craft software. I love the emphasis on community. The idea that conversations are everywhere when a team works in a forest, and that the path out of the desert also begins by having conversations with your peers.

Added a library section to my site, so that I have a place to collect my thoughts on books I've read. It's half-empty right now, but I'm slowly fixing that.

Very nicely put! This reflects my own philosophy when working on my recent projects. It's also one of the reasons why I migrated from other note-taking apps to Obsidian.
