I would like you to know that @rid9way.bsky.social 's DOONEEN is genuine masterpiece, a novel as emotionally gutting as it is intellectually adventurous, a work of genuine formal and linguistic virtuosity. I loved A SHOCK, was impressed by every page, and still DOONEEN left me floored.

i took a class with kyle earlier this year, just a couple afternoons of exploring and appreciating sentence structure, and it was a wonderful, rich experience. i can only imagine how rewarding 8 weeks of his teaching would be. the guy loves the written word; highly recommended!

First is a 4-week course on the first 321 pages of Infinite Jest, which I imagine you're heard of. The goal here is to introduce the novel with a clarifying and guiding eye, and get readers over the (considerable) hump of the early sections.

I don’t have any answers here, personally I think the only healthy version of masculinity I’ve actually encountered is Dudes At The Skatepark Supporting Each Other, so my recommendation is go hang out at skateparks
