I really wanted to make this video about why the reflecting pool controversy actually matters and the people at @ms.now helped me do it

I’m in Sonora CA. There is a wildfire that fire crews have valiantly contained to 80%. There are about 20 Sequoia National Forest Fire members at breakfast and 90% are Hispanic, speaking Spanish. My point, immigrants and the Hispanic population are a brave meaningful part of US society. Gracias 🙏
I was wondering if anyone was keeping a running total on Trump’s waste and abuse. You have to check out this video. And there’s so much, I bet you forgot about some of it: 💰Ballroom: $1 billion project, taxpayers already on the hook for $300 mill 💰 J6 Slush Fund: $1.776 billion for his rioters 🧵
The SAVE Act is built to trip women up. About 69 million married women have names that do not match their birth certificates, and this bill turns that paperwork into a weapon against their voice. Screw that! Please call your Senators and tell them to vote no on the #PayToVoteSaveAct

I keep seeing pitchfork posts and comments about Anthropic’s Free Claude for Teachers announcement yesterday. But I think it’s misunderstood. It’s not just free Claude. It has connection with Learning Commons and skills prebuilt in and you use it with CoWork so you can actually BUIILD things /🧵

Just moments ago the President was supposed to sign a bipartisan housing bill here in the capital. Except, in a bizarre chapter, he didn’t and is a no show—because he says he’s mad at the Senate. Here’s what’s happening ⬇️👀
If you watch the Obama Library, the World Cup, and the Knicks parade this afternoon -- and nothing else -- you can actually see the America we're supposed to be at age 250
The People’s House has entered its sponsorship era. The president owns UFC stock. A million-dollar fundraiser is tied to the event. Commemorative merchandise is already being sold. Is the Hatch Act just not a thing anymore?
Remember, during today's literal cage match on the White House grounds: No matter what, it's not his house. It's our house. Get a hat, coaster, or sticker to support groups and candidates who will respect the form AND the function of the people's house. shop.onwardtogether.org/collections/...
I know many here aren’t fans of AI. But the ship has sailed. Now we need the same intelligent, thoughtful, and generously kind people to be on board and steer it in the right direction. AI is fundamentally too effective to go away. So how do we make it work for all?

This was the moment I knew for certain that 2026 was going to be a very bad foreign policy year for the United States.
The U.S. just had its worst year for international tourism since the pandemic and it wasn’t even close. While the rest of the world broke records in 2025, America was the only country out of 184 to see a drop in foreign visitor spending.
Today, I signed an Executive Order temporarily repealing bedtimes in the City of New York so that kids of all ages can watch our team in the NBA Finals. As Mayor, you’re forced to make many difficult decisions. This was not one of them. Go Knicks.
If you don’t like what you’re seeing at Delaney Hall, pay attention to what’s happening in Congress this week. We must stop giving ICE and for-profit companies like GEO Group a blank check to create chaos.
There is no deal FYI. The Strait will remain closed. This is terrible news but it’s the price of incompetence.
“The regime will not only have survived a major military onslaught from the U.S. and Israel but emerge with a deal better than any on offer before the war. “ 🙄
An interim agreement to end the U.S. and Israeli war against Iran looks likely, and it may very well find Donald Trump acceding to Iranian demands he has long resisted.
