Thanks to our volunteers who handed out flyers at Hackney Road and Old Street this morning—500 in an hour isn't bad going! Had lots of good conversations about our and LCC's work too.
The 2026 Women's Freedom ride will be running on Sunday July 5th. You can sign up here: lcc.org.uk/events/lcc-w... We'll be running a feeder ride from Stonebridge Gardens starting from 10am. Or you can join the main ride outside the National Theatre at 11:30am.

Worth supporting. Even if you never step foot in Tower Hamlets, if you like the idea of TfL not pointlessly burning money, this should be of interest! The precedent set by the previous decision is when TfL agrees a plan with a borough, and funds that plan, councils can't just bulldoze it all later.

If you live near or visit London Fields this may be of interest to you: consultation.hackney.gov.uk/housing-serv... A child was hit and injured here a few years ago. While we understand the desire to improve safety, this will in effect bar users of adapted cycles / mobility scooters / cargo bikes.

Court of Appeal just ruled Tower Hamlets DECISION to remove the Bethnal Green LTN is UNLAWFUL. Councils can't remove without going through proper process & getting Mayor of London's approval. This is a MASSIVE precedent for London. Years of work vindicated. #SaveOurSaferStreets #LTN
