As many of my followers are likely aware, my main issue is Climate Change, and I have a favour to ask. The world has many problems, Canada is no exception, but until we "solve" climate change we won't really have a future. Our kids and grandkids will suffer if we don't make change now. 1/

This is great news. I think the traffic department and city staff should receive praise for pedestrian safety advances. I feel safer in many places around the city. Things always could improve but when I make pedestrian safety suggestions (a lot) they follow through very well.

I don’t think any of the people saying this sort of thing, literally any of them, have any of idea of what Stevens was actually like in Congress or the hustings. “From outside Michigan” must mean “from social media”. She was a better than average Democratic rep with a very solid electoral record.

Ok not to be one of those "I can't believe the margin was so close" annoyingoids from discover but like ... from outside Michigan I do not understand the mind of a Stevens voter. Like what

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

At some level, each of us who writes things lives in fear that one day someone will read it back to us and ask, “do you really mean that?”

the fact that it doesn't make sense to have elite women athletes compete directly against elite men athletes in most sports (hardly all! and there should be more real exceptions!) is the reason for women's sports! "couldn't beat a team of elite (amateur, youth, whatever) men" is Not An Argument
