Depending on the context, standing firm on human rights might lose you an election. You should still do it IMO.

Big shout out to Dean for being normal and aligning with the overall progressive, regardless of housing politics, then looking to find common ground on housing. A San Francisco where progressives define themselves based on non-housing values and look to work together from there is a better place

I think it's likely that mode shift will improve overall emissions more than switching buses to battery electric. So use this 💰 for service changes that bring in riders.

Important to note that in San Francisco, Uber spends meaningful amounts of money fighting against public transit funding and priority and has also fought against bike friendly policies. By reducing the quality of public transit and safety for people on bikes/scooters, he's just pushing one of these

Genuine question, has anyone ever tried to tie automated speed tickets to the blue book value of the registered vehicle? I'm aware it's basically impossible to tie something to a federal income tax bracket and it's pretty unlikely to do it to a state one, but this seems more feasible?
