Please repost. The Centre for Functional and Metabolic Mapping is looking for a Preclinical MRI physicist (9.4T and 15.2T Bruker Advance Neo). You will join a team of 14 dedicated staff in Canada's National Ultra-high field MRI platform who also operate 3T and 7T human scanners in the same facility.
So proud of @alaat.bsky.social for successfully defending his thesis. First PhD grad of the AIMS lab! 🎯 Incredibly fortunate to work with him & @neuroak.bsky.social on AFIDs project. Thanks also to examiners DrEmmaDuerden DrSarahMattonen @angelarobertsphd.bsky.social @emiddlebrooksmd.bsky.social 🙏
Tuesday July 22, Dr. Erik H. Middlebrooks from the @mayoclinic.org will be giving a seminar entitled "Clinical Applications of 7T MRI in Neuroimaging" at University Hospital.

come and work with my colleague @neuroak.bsky.social This is a major collaborative initiative that combines our state of the art imaging facilities. Ideal for someone who just finished a PhD. In science 🧪-friendly 🇨🇦. these facilities are well funded for the next 3 years.

If you care about computationally reproducible results but also like notebooks. You probably should ditch jupyter in favor of marimo.
Traditional Python notebooks are stored as JSON, not Python, causing a whole host of problems. For one, ipynb files are hard to use with Git: few character changes can yield enormous git diffs. marimo solves this and more by storing notebooks as pure Python files: www.youtube.com/watch?v=skuI...
