LLMs cease to be useful when they can't be used to scam people into unknowingly reading slop anymore. When the typewriter was invented, no one had to pretend its output was handwritten to get people to accept it. Typing had its own utility. LLMs are scamtech that have no utility outside the scam.

One developer said they feared Anthropic's watermark could lead clients to flag their work as AI-generated and raise questions about authorship.

This is fun! My go-to is Mind Games J’Adoube. It’s a really tart pomegranate with a little citrus over a base note of leather. There’s apparently some patchouli in it, but thankfully I can’t smell it. My other fave is Diptyque Eau Duelle, which is an unsweet vanilla spiced with pink peppercorn.

I wanna gather up all the game devs into perfume/fragrance and sit them in a room together to chat because I have a hunch they have some amazing collections and recommendations

The reason the game industry keeps laying people off and canceling games despite consumer appetite is because the game industry doesn’t exist any more. It’s been subsumed into the black hole of venture capital, which deliberately believes there is value in treating every industry the same.

1/3 of the game industry has lost their job in the last two years. Ubisoft closed two more studios today. Everyone is out of work. To that end I'm starting a new bundle to benefit a layoffs hardship fund. Game devs: please consider submitting your PAID games to the bundle, which will launch in July.

Game industry hardship fund

A game jam from 2026-06-10 to 2026-06-24 hosted by Necrosoft Games. PREMISE: The game industry has a problem. Too many people are out of work (reports say 33% of the industry lost their jobs in the la...

While it is true that to save the future we must learn about the past, I will never enjoy the annual “Hi I’m a grad student and I’m doing my thesis, can I interview you about one of the more traumatic periods of your adult life” emails

I think every politician who proposes to ban anything on the internet for teens should be required to propose, as an alternate, a free and accessible and all weather space for teens to hang out in their own hometown

I think when you say shit online, that should be really how you feel. It is possible to have tough conversations in person but people don’t want to justify their opinions or face that maybe they misjudged based on bad/incomplete info. I think it’s ok to disagree on some things but apparently not.

Still thinking about our Turkish cabbie yesterday ranting about how America was the greatest country in the world and how mind boggling it is that nobody in power is doing anything about Trump. “It’s like giving the keys to a Ferrari to a stupid, drunk baby.”
