Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

A little #WipWednesday snippy from Chapter 4 of Lucky Strike, my RBB with @citrussyndicate.bsky.social Up on the roof of the pawnshop, Ed and Stede share a joint and watch the stars 🌌

He doesn't want to make a fool of himself, so he takes only a short puff, holding the smoke in his mouth rather than drawing it back into his lungs. He hands the joint back to Ed as he exhales.

Ed takes another hit. "Back in Aotearoa, mum taught me all the constellations. She taught me their names in Te Reo, taught me their stories."

"Yeah?" Stede breathes, utterly endeared at the thought Ed as a little boy, sitting beneath the stars with his mother. "Can you tell me some of them?"

Ed points to a region of the sky. "Okay, so you see those stars there? That cluster of really bright ones?"

Stede squints as he tries to trace the line from Ed's finger to the correct stars, but there are just so many that he can't be sure which ones Ed means. He shakes his head.

"Come here," Ed murmurs, and so Stede scoots closer, closing the slight distance between them. He cocks his head — it's practically resting on Ed's shoulder at this point — until he's able to look straight down the length of Ed's arm.
